Endeavour Financial recognizes the importance of contributing to the communities in which both it and its client companies operate. Endeavour's core corporate social responsibility engagement is with the Clinton Giustra Sustainable Growth Initiative (CGSGI).
Established in June 2007 by President Bill Clinton and philanthropist Frank Giustra, CGSGI is an innovative partnership among the William J. Clinton Foundation, the private sector, governments, local communities, and other NGOs that seeks to narrow the wealth gap in the developing world by empowering the poor through effective, results-oriented economic and social development projects. CGSGI focuses on alleviating poverty through market-driven development that creates jobs and increases incomes, and by strengthening factors that enable economic growth such as health and education. CGSGI creates value by forging cross-sectoral partnerships, designing innovative programs and bringing them to scale, aligning stakeholders, and mainstreaming best practices. The Initiative is committed to assuring transparent and efficient use of resources, and integrating rigorous monitoring and evaluation into its projects

"Endeavour applauds President Bill Clinton and Endeavour's former Chairman, Frank Giustra, on the launch of the Clinton Giustra Sustainable Growth Initiative. We're particularly pleased to support the important work of this international effort by covering a significant portion of its administrative costs, as well as providing additional ongoing financial support.
For some time now, we've watched with tremendous interest as President Clinton and Frank worked to take this remarkable opportunity off the drawing board and turn it into a reality. Consequently, while Frank has stepped down as our Chairman, we are pleased and proud that he will remain as a key consultant and important part of Endeavour's work in the years ahead.
Finally, like so many others in the world's mining industry, we're eager to get on with the work of the Clinton Giustra Sustainable Growth Initiative."
